Celebrate and Reflect With These BC Day Photos
In honour of this civic holiday, these BC Day photos illustrate just a handful of the many reasons to celebrate our Beautiful British Columbia!
BC Day is more than just a statutory holiday in British Columbia. It’s the perfect reason to crank up the BBQ, crack open a cold drink, explore a festival, or get out of town with friends. But BC Day also serves as an opportunity to recognize our province’s pioneers, tracing back to our First Nations communities.
I have yet to explore every corner of BC, but I hope that adventure is in my near future. To celebrate this wow-worthy place I call home, I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite photos I’ve taken around British Columbia with these BC Day photos.
Parliament Buildings, Victoria
Sunset over the West Coast Trail, Ucluelet
Overlooking downtown Vancouver from Crab Park
First run of the day from the Hawk chairlift at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Comox Valley
Evening reflections on Birkenhead Lake
Surfers, Chesterman Beach, Tofino
The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Victoria
Corn stalks at Shamrock Farm, Comox
Sunset colours on the clouds, downtown Vancouver
I hope you and yours have an incredible – and safe – BC Day holiday!
