Tomorrow morning I’ll be waking up bright and early – before the sky itself is bright – to make my way to the airport for a much-needed vacation. J and I are off to the land where palm trees grow, waves crash onto pristine sand, pineapple and coffee beans are in abundance and the mai tais flow like lava.

It’s the first time either of us has ever visited Hawaii and we’re both very, very excited! Not only am I looking forward to the vacation itself, but also the opportunity afforded to unplug for a couple of weeks.
