Photos: Autumn Colours On Our Island
The days are finally starting to feel of the autumn variety on Vancouver Island. Leaves are turning, wood stoves are puffing smoke, pumpkin patches are ripe for the picking and fall corn sways in the chilled wind. If you’re in Canada, you’re probably getting set to celebrate Thanksgiving with what I hope is a bountiful feast for you and your family.
As for me? I’m excited to spend lots of one-on-one time with my niece, picking out a sugar pumpkin together at Shamrock Farm and baking up some spiced deliciousness in the kitchen. In honour of the stunning colours blanketing Vancouver Island, I thought it fitting to celebrate autumn with some photos from within our communities and backyards, showcasing the very best of fall…
