Giveaway: Go Play In The Snow At Mount Washington Alpine Resort!

UPDATE: Congratulations to Hailey and Sarah! They’re the winners of the Mount Washington Alpine Resort lift ticket pairs. Hailey and Sarah have been contacted by e-mail. Thanks to all who entered!

It’s hard to believe that the Spring ski season is almost upon us, but I’d like to believe most of us are more than ready for warmer temperatures and softer snow.

With almost two feet of fresh powder over the last week, Mount Washington Alpine Resort shows no sign of slowing down for any season. This bodes well for yours truly because I still have yet to get up there this season, but I’m planning to get my shred on during Easter weekend. Many of the mountain’s Spring activities – including the infamous Crush Slush Cup – have been pushed back with the extended season.

  1. While my fiance is quite a snowboarder I prefer to ski. Eariler this year I attempted snowboarding with him. I came to the conclusion that although a beautiful mountain, Mount Cain is not the place to learn. I would like to try boarding again with him but this time at Mount Washington.

  2. I prefer skiing, though I haven’t actually tried snowboard. Perhaps I should give it a try!

  3. I snowboard but the majority of my friends ski. I’m hoping to lure my friends up here for a weekend of skiing ~ if I win free passes for them then it won’t be so expensive and they’ll have no excuse not to come up:)

  4. I grew up skiing but when I was a teenager I tried snowboarding and never looked back!! Thanks for the great contest! I am crossing my fingers that I win so I can teach my husband how to snowboard :)

  5. I loooove snowboarding! but I also grew up skiing and would love to give it another shot one of these days, either way, snow = happiness!

  6. Snowboarding for life!!! Nothing like the thrill of flying down some fresh pow on the best mountain ever!! Mount Washington is the best resort.

  7. I have snowboarded at Mount Washington since 1980. In all those years I have met lots of snowboarders that used to ski but I have yet to meet a skiier that used to snowboard…

  8. I prefer skiing over snowboarding. The first time I tried snowboarding, I was embarassingly dragged up the bunny hill… and am still scarred.

  9. I grew up skiing and although I have tried snowboarding, I still like to ski. Now that I have two boys, we all ski together. My oldest (10) wants to snowboard now so maybe mom will have to give another try!

  10. I tried to learn to ski many years ago when I lived in Scotland but snow conditions were pretty poor . I’m moving to the Island mid March this year and a couple of lift tickets would help me progress from a wobbly snow plow turn to……….who knows? I’m sure I’ll have no problems in finding new ski buddies if there’s a free lift pass on offer.

    :O)

  11. I prefer to ski, but all my friends snowboard. I would try snowboarding, but I just love skiing too much to give up a day of skiing to learn to snowboard.

  12. I grew up skiing Whistler many years ago but don’t ski much anymore. Spring skiing was always my favorite. It would be lovely to give it a go again. My middle son loves Mount Washington and he goes up often with friends. It would be so much fun to join him up there. Thanks for the chance!

  13. I just went up to Mount Washington last week–first time. Now, I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. Really nice hill, great snow. The view is pretty awesome.

  14. I’ve never been to Mount Washington but I would love to go. Snowboarder since mid 90’s so I think I’m a boarder for life.

  15. I would like to enter this draw for my sister and her boyfriend Brian!
I would to have them win so that can have a day off and enjoy skiing or snowboarding.

  16. Entering for a friend who is an avid skier and absolutely loves Mount Washington!
