Loved your post – cool about the ferries – it’s about time – hate that the Olympics are coming and everything about it….BUT…I do really love Rebbeca’s shirt in that photo – where can I get one?

1. I’m proud the olympics are coming to BC. It’s something me and my family will enjoy, at the same time I would really like more pressing social issues addressed. I don’t even live downtown (we are in the ‘burbs) and the issues of homelessness, drug use and theft are in our faces everyday.

2. I don’t take the ferries often but I know how expensive it is when we actually do. It actually affects our decision to travel to the island or elsewhere so it’s great to see a bit of a break coming. Especially for those who rely on the service.
