Political tension is in the air, Twitter is updating at a frenzied pace and I haven’t felt this nervous in a very long time. Funny how the weight of an election in a country that isn’t my own seemingly has a wider and deeper impact than the democracy in my home country.
I’m retiring for the evening to stay glued to the U.S. election results as polls are beginning to close and results are starting to roll in. If you’re online and would like to keep up-to-date on what’s happening as it happens, stay tuned to the BBC.
Here’s hoping I’ll be crying tears of joy in a few hours rather than tears of sorrow.
