It’s Fall, it’s getting colder out, time to wear warmer clothing, blah blah blah. Are you even surprised that this is also my favourite season to shop for? I have a lot of great jeans, two pairs of warm UGGs and enough cute sweaters and cardigans to last me until Spring.
Often I choose Fashion over Function, but in this case, the two Fs go hand-in-hand. The fact that it’s also Fall is just a threesome of Fs.
I love Marc. He makes me smell good. He’d make me fashionable too.
My mom had Frye boots in the 1970s. For years they collected dust in our house after she no longer wanted to wear them, and now they are gone without a trace (much to my chagrin). I want these ones, but they cost a lot. A lot.
Maybe I won’t be able to bundle myself in this Marc Jacobs dream or own the sidewalk in these Frye boots, but I need a new Fall and Winter jacket as well as some boots that aren’t UGGs or stilettos. Or maybe I could buy one and not the other.
Help me! Suggestions!
Any obscure places I should hunt out?

I want Frye boots too! (still…) I think I’m going to get a pair this year (finally…) Sometimes the consignment stores on Main have older vintage ones that are in good shape and a good price.
LOVE the jacket. How much is it? I always find paying a good price for a jacket is usually worth it. I bought a cute purple jacket last fall and paid quite a bit but I love it so much! Plus in Saskatchewan you can probably pull off wearing a fall jacket for a while!!
Those boots were only a size 7…wouldn’t have fit anyway
Fall is my favorite season too for fashion! Boots, cardigans, tunics, jackets, scarves.. ahh love.
What size, what color and where can I send you a pair?
Those.boots.are.AMAZING!
I need a new pair this fall for these rainy Vancouver days…
I’ve gotten 2 really nice Pea Coats from Urban Behaviour, they’re around 70 bucks, a nice fit, and have held up surprisingly well for being a ‘budget’ purchase.
Look for a brand called El Naturalista. They are stunning. Made in Spain, environmentally friendly, amazingly comfortable.
you can find more info at http://www.elnaturalista.ca, and find local retailers.
Those are cool boots and the jacket is nice too. Get the jacket and ask for the boots for Christmas
ooo nice!! I have a jacket that looks very similar to that, except it has lost a few buttons along the way, and I am having trouble finding replacements:(
Love the tan boots!! Very sweet indeed.
I am about due to go on a shopping spree myself…
!!!
You’ve probably heard this before, but Frye boots are TOTALLY worth the investment. They’ll last forever and look awesome all the while. I say take the plunge – you won’t regret it! I know I don’t.
