TENDER TOES

It is only a few days shy of July and already my feet have the appearance of early September.

Help me!

The place I normally go to in an effort to tend to my toes does a decent run-of-the-mill job for your everyday pedicure, but my feet need some serious TLC - stat! I’m willing to spend a little more than the average pedicure, need some deep and intense moisture and would prefer somewhere in downtown Vancouver. Obviously, clean and sanitary conditions are a must.

Suggestions, please.

I don’t have suggestions but I just want to say THANK YOU Keira. Your post on baths prompted me to have a bath myself, with salts, candles and the whole nine yards… and I *loved* it.

:) Hugs and love!

I don’t know where you should go, but when you find a place get either a foot masque or a paraffin treatment for that deep down moisture you’re wanting. I’m sure you already know this but a little body butter on some damp feet [everyday after you shower] goes a long way in keeping your feet looking fabulous. Good luck finding your TLC!

kinda late on this but I got a great pedi at fingertips on davie, and if you go between 10 - 12 on weekdays its 5$ off. I think mine was 30$ with tip (and I didn’t go between 10 - 12) and they have super comfy massage chairs.

oh, and another more expensive yet thorough pedi can be purchased and “cranberries spa” on robson near hamilton, south side of the street - it sounds like all I do is get pedis now, but those two places are the only two times I’ve ever been - and they have a mini pedi which on tuesdays is 20% off, good for touch ups I guess after you’ve have a “real” one.
