Carlin was a true comedic guru. His words served as a mirror to show us how absurd and even horrible we can be as humans. He not only made you laugh, he made you think (hopefully).

In ’98 I left Vancouver during an addictive time in my life to go and live with my big sis up north to try to regain my centre. I’ve always been a voracious reader and wanted to lose myself in her book collection. The first one I dove into was “Braindroppings” by the man himself and I swear to this day I’m sure laughing that hard paved the way for a positive, fun and spirited recovery – I love you Sir Carlin!

I heard that today. So sad. I was even considering get tickets to see him in November.

My cat Theodore (aka Bear) is named after Ted of Bill & Ted’s, it was one of my all time fav movies. George was brilliant in Dogma too. Such a funny man. He’ll be missed.
