A FEW THOUGHTS…

…from everyone’s favourite blonde narcissist.

For those of you who have never commented on my blog before, there is a procedure set up for doing so. Whenever someone is a first-time commenter, whatever they write is immediately dumped into my “awaiting moderation” folder until I have the chance to review the comment. As I sat at my desk this morning, an e-mail notification popped up in my Gmail that there was one comment awaiting moderation. This comment, in turn, referred me to a newly minted blog.

I encourage you all to check out said blog here.

I have to say in all honesty that, despite the intent and content, it’s actually very well written.

Thanks for the publicity, Stanley.

A side note to those of you who may be pondering the idea of creating blogs such as Stanley’s open letter to your humble narrator: remember how, just a moment ago, I mentioned that all new comment contributions to my site are dumped into a moderation folder? The beauty in that is the fact that all IP addresses and a whole cluster of other information is also recorded. Because while you could state that you “stumbled upon” which ever blog you decide to target, the information attached to your IP address is proof enough that you visited the object of your obsession by way of Facebook. And, being that my Facebook profile is entirely private, I suppose this means that Stanley is a “friend” of mine.

Nice, hey?

In the spirit of all things non-Carrie Bradshaw, today was day two of Army & Navy’s annual shoe sale. Fortunately, Rebecca and I were finally able to make it down there today and scoop up some fine finds for summertime.

With friends like those…

What I don’t get is if someone doesn’t like a person, or a blog, then why would they spend time reading it? And creating their own blog just to announce their dislike?

Obviously this person isn’t someone that knows you very well. You are one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people that I know.

Phaedra

Jesus. Stalk much, Stanley?

By the way, nice score on the shoes. Glad to hear you girls finally made it down.

Amber

Good shoes on the cheap! Good for you! I guess it might be time to clean up ye old friend list eh?

Bethany

whoa. Havn’t commented for a while but this post sparks one. You’re one strong gal to just shake that off. I don’t think I could have. Although I don’t know you very well yet (meaning I’m not too sure what you’re all about yet!) - I certainly oppose the image this “blogger” has of you. However, blogging poses many risks - and I guess this is one of them, no?

Wow…all that I can say about this Stanley character’s blog is WOW! Get a life, buddy! I second Amy’s comment about him obviously not being someone who knows you…cause everyone who knows you knows what a total sweetheart you are!

Awesome shoe scores…happy to hear that you finally got there (better late than never, right?) Very nice additions to the kicks collection, my dear.

Eduardo

I guess Stanley is a guy who doesn’t really know much about girls, girls are girls, sometimes we (boys) understand them some others we don’t, but the big truth here is that we love them the way they are. What i mean by this is that as a girl you write girls stuff but thats not all, your blog is about perspective, points of view, fun, life. I don’t know you in person, in fact i don’t know if i ever will, but i can tell you seem to be a great person, a talented writer, a person who enjoys life and who is loved by GOOD and REAL friends and fans. I guess someone needs to relate more with girls and specially a girl as good as you.

Nice and sexy shoe and legs pics !!!

Interesting use of ones time I must say :P

Suzie

I always admire someone who can tolerate bad feedback :) cheers…..I love the shoes but to be honest that one pic where we can almost get a glimpse of your ass is just a tease ;)

Sue Shee

I loves the black pumps…..me jealous.

Roshan

Nice, very nice. Stylish, elegant, sleek, sexy…and the shoes are good too!

Peter

At least if it was clever hating, you could give partial marks for effort.

That was just kind of sad.

Eva

Espadrilles are back? They’re cute though! Wish I could wear heels. I’m always afraid of killing myself trying to wear them. Thank goodness I can get away with wearing jeans and sneakers at work. :)

Raul

I was informed about this last night when we were at the Meetup, and the thing is - WOW. I wonder where do people get off on these things? In my books, Keira, you’re one of the sweetest and most fashionable gals I’ve ever met. And I have been a catwalk model myself.

XOXO

PatZ

I bet he’s pissed that you scored a pair of shoes before he did.

Chels

Only fascinating people can ellicit such obsessive emotion… most people are WAY too boring to be controversial.

I aim to be more controversial myself…

If only Stanley would devote an ENTIRE blog to me- then I would know I’ve arrived…

Stanley if you’re reading this: my blog is here.

Feel free to get all hot and bothered with what I have to say too… and hell, I’d even settle for a top 5 list!

incognitocanuck

Everyone assumes Stanley is a male. Is she?????

deb

That’s what I thought too.

Stanley’s probably a girl who feels threatened by your beauty & confidence. Sadly, it’s an ugly part of life…that some have nothing better to do than to try and shoot others down. Gorgeous, outgoing, intelligent women attract this negative attention just by being themselves. My daughter is already experiencing some of this yet she’s the sweetest girl ever (like you).

I’m sure it just ruined your entire day (not). :)

Dan

you’re my fave blonde ANYTHING

bicyclemark

if I ever get less busy, Ill create an online shrine dedicated to you. Sort of the polar opposite of the blog youre referring to.

Jetson

Anonomosity. It makes little people feel big.

Pamela

The Internet…where men are men, women are men, and children are FBI agents.

I’ve only been on this blog for a little while, but I think you’re great! Why else would I come back?
