you nailed it. i’m a man, so the kids part would be bonus. mostly want time, the kitchen you described, travel, a faithful intelligent beauty, and i’d want my island to be more in the tropical category, since i grew up in the NW and dread the clouds. rain, fine, overcast, no.

Well i guess i have more than one dream, my wishes are related to two different stages of my life: house for family and living i must say its very similar to what you have described above; but then as i grow even older I’d like to have a retirement house “dans la campagne francaise”, living my life as simple as i can, enjoying good wine, fresh cheese, french bread… only surrounded by the sounds of nature!!!
With the help of my family and thanks to living in a small country i can enjoy most of my weekends by staying at this amazing place : (you got to check it out ’cause for me this is beautiful!!!)

today my dream is a converted warehouse with a huge photo studio. bare brick walls and large back drops. a state of the art darkroom. the upstairs living space with a slanted glass roof. the bathroom with a sauna and a jacuzzi. a shower stall with at least six heads. a large kitchen with pots hanging from the ceiling. a bedroom with no windows

I love thinking about this stuff! I love Saskatchewan, so I’ll probably never leave. (I know, hard to believe, right?) I want an acreage with a nice big house outside of some small town. I want to have my home-based graphic design business up and running so that my family and pets are close at hand. I hope that the town I live in is close to my family so I can visit more often and have my niece and nephew over for sleepovers. I want my yard to be large and full of trees and flowers so my dog Noah can go where he pleases. Maybe I’ll get him a playmate? I’d probably have bunnies too, outdoor ones. I want my kitchen to be big. I love cooking/experimenting and also entertaining. There’s nothing like a good game of canasta at the kitchen table while waiting for a roast to cook! Also, a big bathroom. One with a big tub. I love bubble baths. I could go on forever on this subject!

My dreams are very similar. My life over here is just a means to an end that I don’t see coming fast enough. I’m over here working for money to use to buy “the simple life” on the Island but I’m only going into more and more debt. So what am I doing it for? I’m moving backwards, not forwards. This is where the lottery part of the dream comes in. It sweeps in and solves the money issue, allowing me to become a debt-free homeowner with the matching of a few numbers.
