Today kicks off the Green Living Show at BC Place Stadium. Your favourite hot geek and mine, Rebecca Bollwitt, are heading down there later this afternoon to check out the exhibitors, products and whatever else is there to explore. The Comox Valley Bingo Parlour is closing its doors (if it hasn’t already) in anticipation of the brand new “Chances Community Gaming Centre” - because you can’t call it a casino - just off Ryan Road. The new “Community Gaming Centre” will purportedly haul in $9 million municipal dollars annually for the Valley…straight from the pockets of the Valley’s residents. Seems like somewhat of a vicious cycle if you ask me.
Team Blogger will be bowling for charity in only a few short weeks in support of Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. I’ve raised, um, zero dollars in support of the cause so if you haven’t sponsored one of us already, what are you waiting for? Click here to show some love for the kids.
I have a crush on Jon Stewart. I have a big crush on Jon Stewart. He’s no Colin Farrell, probably only 5′8″ at best and is closer to my mom’s age than my own. But I really don’t care. There’s something about the funny little Jewish man that gets me hot. To repeat my sentiments from Jennifer’s blog, “I’d hump that man 12 ways to Sunday.” Aaaand…how.
