SNOW DAY!

Today, Charley’s five-month birthday, also coincidentally happens to be the first Snow Day of the season. I’ve always hoped to be around to see her during her first glimpse of the white stuff in the Comox Valley, but unfortunately I missed it by just a day. Thankfully my mom was home and was fortunate enough to snap some shots.

The verdict: she loves it! Charley couldn’t get enough of the snow and prounced and bounced throughout the flakes while pushing it along the ground with her little snout.

I had to take her out when I got home just to see how she reacts to the white stuff. She loves ploughing with her snout and trying to pickup any snowballs I made for her. She must have wanted to play with the snowballs like a regular ball but found out they fell apart or melted into her mouth. It’s fun right now while the snow is fresh and sticky, but I don’t know if she will like it when its frozen and hard.

Heh heh… I hope that she grows to love it. Kylie (my dog) absolutely loves snow; while walking with her, she’ll stop, fall over, and roll around in it for half an hour or more before she continues on her way.

It’s amazing to see an animal in the snow. I have a dog myself and when I was younger he was on a sled together with me and my father was towing us.

A beautiful dog really!!! Enjoy the snow!

Yeah for snow! I love it, but I kind of dread it in Tokyo. It is pretty while it’s falling heavy, but it almost immediately turns to black mush on the streets here.

Okay, I know I’m repeating, but….how is it possible that Charley just keeps getting more adorable?? lol I miss snow….it was about 73 F down here today. No snow….EVER!! :)
