Mating Season
Maybe it’s just me or maybe it’s an epidemic, but it seems that every woman and their dog is pregnant lately. It must’ve been a long, boring winter. Or a really cold winter. Or who really knows. I hope it isn’t contagious. As I walked to work, to the court, back home and to the gym today, I saw pregnant women everywhere I went! Most of them were pretty young but they were all around the same stage in their pregnancy. I guess somethin’ was going around this winter…some sort of weird unprotected sex bug.
I must stress that I am nowhere near being settled down, let alone knocked up. However, I’ve gotta say, I think I’ll be pretty stoked when that happens. I can’t imagine what it would feel like and what I would be thinking. Just to know that something is actually growing inside of you - something you’re so connected to and something that’s so real. I think it’s gonna be pretty cool.
P.S. Me and Brock are gonna have the cutest babies.

Did I tell you about my dream where I was pregnant? I feel like it might have been when you were visiting that I had the dream, but I cant remember. Anyyyways, it was so strange because it was one of the most realistic dreams Ive ever had. I actually FELT what it was like (physically) to be pregnant. I remember trying to suck in my stomach but I couldn’t. So strange, but so cool.
Hmmm I’m pretty sure you told me about that dream when I was in Calgary. Aren’t pregnancy dreams the best? I would LOVE it if you and I ended up preggers at the same time - we could go to Yummy Mommy Yoga together! And shop for baby clothes together! Ahhh okay I have to stop filling my own head with such ideas. What a dream that would be… *sigh*
Your babies would be tall skinny babies, kinda like you’d be giving birth to udon noodles.

I know what you mean. The pregnant thing is like that here on East Coast U.S. Is there a baby boom going on that people don’t know about. All tabloid stars are popping. Almost makes me want to go and knock someone up.
